adrenaline rush.

Do you ever have those days where a bunch of tiny little happy things happen that ultimately just leave you feeling incredibly good? Wednesday was definitely one of those days. One of those where I wanted to just sit there and sing and dance even though I had homework and responsibilities to uphold. It was one of those days that I felt like I definitely needed. Also, classes were cancelled after 5 pm for the remainder of that day and this actually meant only had two classes. Very unusual for me. Major roll tide situation. 🙂 Regardless, the cold weather made me smile all day. It was the perfect kind of cold that I enjoy. Honestly, I just love a gentle cold to the day. I love dressing for winter. I’m going to miss it when it passes on for sure. I’ve never been much of a summer person. Then it snowed and that was definitely the happiest I’ve been thus far this year. Excellent day.
Today, classes were delayed until 10 am which meant that I did get to miss one class and that I have time to do some of the homework I didn’t get a chance to do yesterday. Excellent. I love when days are like this. Days that leave you with an adrenaline rush that keeps you pressing forward in life and reminds you of how great life truly is.
This is ending up being more of a memoir of a happy day rather than the usual style of one of my blog entries, but I’m going to roll with it. I think what I am eternally getting to in all of this is that sometimes terrible things happen in succession and you find yourself having trouble just being productive. Then days like yesterday come along and all you want to do is live and eventually, productivity returns and you are reminded that life may hand you lemons sometimes, but hey, if it didn’t, it would be kind of boring. Could you imagine having a perfect day /every single/ day? I know I would be asleep rather quickly from such a concept.
