Merry Christmas! For day 25 of the 30-day blog challenge, I have decided to write on prompt #12: “My favorite word from another language.” This blog post will be brief because I think the word speaks for itself and doesn’t need a lot of extraneous commentary.
I speak a handful of languages and know random words in several others. I think one word I really love is sempre. In Italian, sempre means “always” or “forever.”
Though “always” isn’t my favorite adverb in English, it is a word I often use. To me, sempre has a beautiful sound and meaning.
